Tanushree in trouble

Recently Tanushree Dutta was shooting for a film with Nana Patekar and what happened next was something that Tanushree had not even dreamt of. She had a little disagreement with the producer on something and went and sat in her van for a couple of hours and refused to shoot. This was considered very unprofessional on her part. Later when she was leaving the studio her car was surrounded by reports that had a tiff with her father. The reporters got so furious that they started damaging her car while she was inside. A disturbed Tanushree still does not believe what happened.

No Loans for Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan does not believe in taking loans. He says that he comes from the old school of thought were they believe in “pair utne he phailao jitni chadar hai”. He not only preaches this thought but also follows it completely. Though IPL means huge investment Shah Rukh says he has never taken a loan for his business. To get money he has done dance shows and worked more. He says that all the money he got for KBC, he invested in is home production Om Shanti Om and now all the money that he is getting for Panchvi Pass he has invested it all in the IPL. He says that he does not take up any business if he can not afford it.

Shah Rukh has also tasted failures

Shah Rukh says that people look only at the successes that he has come across during his journey to the top. They only see him as a successful actor and a skilled businessman. But Shah Rukh says that it is not so one also has to see the failures that have been a part of the journey. He says that when he started his first production company people just wrote him off. The first film from his production house called “Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani” was a big flop. Shah Rukh says the comments that followed in the newspapers were too discouraging. Also the first internet company that he launched gave no returns.

Don’t take it up with SRK

During a press conference after the success of Taare Zameen Par, Aamir went ahead and quoted that he is number and Shah Rukh stands at the number two position. Shah Rukh Khan infact liked Aamir’s statement when he said that if Shah Rukh is Badshah then he is “ekka”. After this the reply that Shah Rukh laughing gave to Aamir during an interview would have made Aamir realized who has he gone ahead and taken panga with. Shah Rukh wants to believe that Aamir was actually trying to be funny when he made such comments.

Today even the producers are happy paying them the amount because they have realized that big amounts that they are paying to the stars will convert into big bucks.

There was time when we had star directors in bollywood. Guru Dutt, Mehboob Khan, Bimal Roy, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Raj Kapoor, Manoj Kumar are to name a few. But today people are more concerned about who stars in the film. No body wants to watch films without stars. No matter if these stars are staring in films of directors who are first timers. Tashan is one such example. People are waiting for the film to hit the screen only for its star cast. Similarly Abbas Mastan played safe by casting Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy in their film. Bimal Roy could make Devdas with Motilal and still make a hit film but nobody would have wanted to watch Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas without Shah Rukh Khan, Ashwariya Rai and Madhuri Dixit.
